If you found out your neighbor was selling cigarrettes to your child, what would you do?
and how would you punish your child for smoking and using your hard earned money (I’m a single mom) for buying them.
The neighbors are crazy….to say the least and aren’t the type of people you can have a chat with about things and I’m not sure if calling the police would benefit either.
Help?
It’s illegal in all states to sell cigarettes to a minor, so I would call the police and see how the neighbors like a fine.
As to the kid, well, as much as I hate to say it, there probably isn’t much you can do. You can try grounding him or something but it’s clear he wants to smoke, so (since you can’t watch your kids 100% of the time) he’s going to find a way to do it.
