I have so much Talent (i’m not braging) what would you do?

I was born with my moms gift.Sorry to say she drank herself to death. I am a certified ballroom instructor, I worked off Rodeo DR. for 12 years specializing in color and cuts becaused I am a licenced cosmotoligist. I paint, sculpt, draw,I’m great with photography, clothes design. I’m unfocused ,bipolar, depressed, and anxious. If I do one thing for too long I get destuctive.

It looks to me like all your talents are in the creative arts. No big surprise there – it has long been noted that a lot of bipolar folks are extremely creative. Plus when you have hypomania, you can really apply yourself to whatever your interest happens to be right then. But then you crash –

I’m the same way. I am very good at craft projects like sewing etc, writing fiction, I’m learning oil painting and already they are very good and I’ve only painted maybe 8 in my whole life, etc. etc. I think it’s that bipolar thing, but then I have the curse of non-stop depression. I rarely get the hypomanias anymore. My only saving grace is that my bipolar is so bad and so unresponsive to meds that I’m unable to work (which is awful and I am very ashamed of it, plus I’m poor) which gives me time to exercise my creativity.

I think you should try really hard to get your meds adjusted so you are less depressed and anxious, then you can use that creativity to good effect. I’m personally just useless the way I am, and it is a waste, but I can’t get better. I hope you will find something that helps! You’ll never make it without the meds. Bipolar gets worse as you get older.
