what to be a movie star?
i want to be an actress, what are the first steps i should take? (i’m 14, and live in seattle) should i go to John Robert powers? should i get an agent? what should i tell my mom? also i think it would be cool if i were to be in a movie, even an extra would be cool. HELP!
Get invloved in school or local theatre.
Join any acting classes you can (at least for networking).
Have headshots taken and prepare a resume.
Contact a reputable agent.
There are many extra agencies on the West Coast. I used to belong to the one on The Sunset Strip across from The Viper Room. Got me a nice spot in Clueless (1994).
