Why is my wife and mom so mad that I play Doom, Mortal Kombat and Modern Warfare with my 3 year old girl?
I mean come on get a clue right? It is not like I am raising a monster just by it, I grew up with video games and I turned out ok.
Those games all have ratings on them for a reason. They are not fit for the maturity levels of a 3 year old. She is at the age where she is learning everything she can, is that what she should be learning? It won’t turn her into a psycho or anything most likely, but it could give her nightmares and other fears as well when she is alone. Another negative side effect is it could also make her see violence as fun so when she is of age to be around other kids could start to become a troublesome time for you as parents.
I also think you should talk to your wife on why she is mad instead of asking people here. Hopefully you did, if not that is an entire new problem.
I do suggest you invest in some E Rated games if you want to play games with her, there is plenty of them out there that is fun for parents and their kids, some are even educational.
