I need cupcake ideas for a baby shower?
I am hosting a baby shower for my sister in-law and am going with a “Mod Mom” theme. She doesn’t know the gender of the baby. Here is a link to the theme: http://www.zurchers.com/ModMomBabyShowerTableware-tp2-211.html
I want to get cupcakes made that match the theme, and am looking for suggestions. I was thinking about purple and green cupcakes, maybe just with some polka dots or maybe an umbrella iced on top. I want to keep them looking modern and trendy. I prefer the look of the fondant icing. It gives a clean perfected look. Any suggestions or even websites with pictures would be great!
If you want to make them yourself I think Wilton sells a pan that makes little umbrella shaped cupcakes. I would use the colors from the plates and cups if you really want to match.
