Is it still socially acceptable to be a stay at home mom?
I’m 22 – in my last year of college. I love education and believe all people should gain a minimal amount of college at some point. I’m very happy that women have the chance to be career orientated if they desire, but I see nothing more important than raising healthy, happy and loved children. Unfortuanately, I keep feeling pressured to be more than a stay at home mom. Is being a stay at home mom looked down upon in society?
Stay At Home Mom,
There is nothing about staying at home as being lazy or the EASY way out , because you totally give up your career and turn your life over into giving your children a large part of you. Raising a family and taking over the household and doing 15 jobs or more each day and no paycheck from it . It has to be a love to your husband and to the children you will nurture and love to life.
Your children will appreciate it , my sister worked while her children begged her to stay at home instead of working , they didn’t need the money.
