Grants for single Moms?
I already know about the Pell grant. What is this thing about “Obama wants single Moms to return to school?” Where are these grants supposed to be? I already did my FAFSA application. My EFC is O. Are there any other guaranteed grants I can get?
What you are seeing are called ADVERTISEMENTS. There are several of them, think of them as SPAM and background noise.
The Golden Child “Wants moms to go back to school”, the Golden Child “Wants folks to refinance their homes”, the Golden Child “Wants them to …. ” whatever!!!
Just because he wants them to doesn’t nec mean he had money for them to go!
The one and ONLY application for grants for federal student aid (and it was around a heck of a lot longer than the Golden Child has been in office) is the FAFSA application. And one does not have to be a single mother to get grants and like you said, it is the application for a Pell grant. There are NO guarantees in anything, including grants. Be sure you keep your grades up and don’t make it a habit of dropping classes or you might not still qualify for the Pell.
