I feel badly for you. I’m sure you miss your little black lab puppy. Is this a weekly flea market?? Maybe that nice couple will be at the flea market again — you could watch for their red truck or even ask people that may recognize them.
You said they were a nice couple, so most likely are treating your Toby very good – lots of treats, lots of fun! Toby sounds like he was very special to you. He is probably very happy living with that nice couple and they may not want to give him back. I understand how you feel tho – you just want to make sure he is happy and then I think you’d be ok with him living with the nice couple. Good luck!
