books moms would like
Book/Mom problems.. need advice please!?
Ok, so I bought the first MTV book in the series and I read it. So I went to the bookstore to get the second one and my mom said “Let me see it” becuase she always wants it to be “appropriate” becuase she probably thinks I dont know alot of stuff about sex and drugs and so on.. So, she reads the back and flips to like one page and says” no I dont think this is appropriate for you, I turned to one page and I already see bad words” Well, Im almost 15! She treats me like I’m 2! We spent about an hour at the bookstore until she could find a book that was “appropriate” I dont get why she would even care! The books are in the teen section, and I’m a teen, so I should be able to read it! And I guess she doesnt realize that I know all about pretty much everything already! Ive already read ALOT of innoprapriote books, she just doesnt know that and I’m not going to tell her. So what should I do so she can let me read those books? I mean come on, the most interesting ones are the bad ones!
tell her that you need some exposure to life – so that you are not naive – so that you don’t end up pregnant
